Grand Lodge of Oklahoma Territory

Ten Lodges under charters from the GL Indian Territory sent representatives to Oklahoma city where, on November 10, 1892, Grand Master Bennett Most Worshipful Grand Master Grand Lodge of Indian Territory ( 1889-1892), disgusted with the conduct of many affiliated with the grand lodge of Indian Territory, convened them into a convention, ascertained their desires in the proposed organization of a Grand Lodge for the Territory of Oklahoma.  Finding everything to be in order, the convention was dissolved and a formal election of officers was held, a Constitution, By-Laws and Regulations were presented and approved.
