Heavener Masonic Lodge #154, A.F.&A.M.
Cornerstone Ceremony
Wednesday, Nov. 30, 1927

The Most Worshipful Grand Lodge Free and Accepted Masons of the State of Oklahoma met in call session at Heavener, Wednesday, November 30,  1927 at Two Thirty P.M. for the purpose of laying the Cornerstone of the new Masonic Hall belonging to Heavener Lodge No. 154.

Present and presiding Earl G. Flesher, Grand Master, with the following brethren acting in the capacity of other Grand Lodge officers as follows:

Mark P. Olner, Senior Grand Warden of Mena, Arkansas
Claude A. Sturgeon, Junior Grand Warden of McAlester
W.M. Anderson, Grand Orator of Guthrie
Lewis S. Johnston, Acting as Grand Secretary
Wm. Weir, Acting Grand Treasurer
Emerson Burns, Senior Grand Deacon
M.L. Courington, Acting as Junior Grand Deacon
W.M. Kirk, Acting Grand Senior Steward of Weeks, Arkansas
W.C. Page, Acting as Grand Junior Steward, of Poteau
Louis Beasley, Grand Architect
A.W. Hicks, Grand Chaplain

The brethren formed procession at the side of the Temple and marched around the business district, circling back to the front of the Temple, where the Grand Master, assisted by the other Grand Lodge Officers laid the Corner Stone in ritualistic form. The day being very disagreeable, the public was invited to the City Auditorium where a number of addresses were delivered by the Grand Master and other Grand Lodge Officers.
